Nova IVF Fertility offers Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine (FRM) with the objective to train obstetricians and gynecologists in the field of reproductive medicine with evidence-based guidelines and programs. The program will be conducted by a multidisciplinary team of Fertility Specialists and Embryologists with a cumulative experience of more than 500+ years.

Training in Reproductive Medicine is of 6 months & 2 years full-time program offering the following:

Reproductive physiology, endocrinology and genetics.
Medical and surgical treatment of infertility.
Assisted Reproductive Technologies in Infertility.

The ART ACT 2022 has outlined compulsory requirements for practicing infertility for 3 years. The Nova ART training has been designed to impart the required training and experience to the student in order to enable her/him to take up positions as Level 1 or Level 2 clinicians post the training.

The program is designed to help you competently manage complex reproductive and fertility problems with the most modern and up-to-date treatment procedures.

Fellowship Course Objective

Gain proficiency in the clinical workup, diagnosis, and evidence-based management of infertile couples.
Develop skills in Assisted Reproductive Techniques with improved and advanced treatment methods.
Actual case studies with treatment procedures imparted in an IVF setup.
Gain in-depth knowledge and treatment for male, female, and combined factors of infertility.
Third-party reproduction techniques like oocyte donation, sperm donation, etc.
Interrelation between advanced ART technologies and clinical embryology procedures.

During this course, you will hence learn all the practical aspects of ART, get exposure to lab techniques; including Embryo Biopsy, Assisted Hatching, Semen Analysis, Oocyte Retrieval and will also learn about the Follicular Monitoring and 3D scans.

Extensive Training will be imparted by the most experienced and dedicated professionals in the field of reproductive medicine having all round experience in the field.

The goal of the reproductive program is to train well-rounded fertility specialists that are clinically and surgically competent to treat infertility conditions with ease.

Dr Rohit Gutgutia is the Medical Director of Nova IVF Fertility that has a chain of fertility clinics across India. In 2005, he underwent training in Reproductive Medicine in Israel with Prof Amit Ami’s team. He has helped to set up and formulate the clinical protocols at Genome – The Fertility Centre in Kolkata. Subsequently he has served as the clinical director in AMRI medical centre. At Nova IVF Fertility he has been helping to achieve clinical acclaim. At present he is engaged in nurturing and developing an enabling environment for fellow clinicians and embryologists to provide best in class treatment and assistance to couples seeking conception. Dr Sonia Malik is an ART specialist of national and international repute practicing ART for over three decades. She has been working both in Reproductive endocrinology and Immunology with special interest in PCOS, Genital tuberculosis, Premature ovarian failure and Recurrent Implantation Failure. She is the Immediate Past President of Indian Fertility Society and has Chaired the Infertility Committee of FOGSI and AOGD. Presently the Vice President of the MS- PCOS society of India, she also has the honour of being on the editorial board of prestigious journals like Fertility Sterility India, Journal of Human Reproductive Sciences to name a few. As a keen academician, she has been awarded many national awards and honours and has been invited both nationally and internationally to deliver lectures.
